Dear ICF Member, The results of this year's ICF Board of Directors Election have been finalized. An impressive group of coaches, 21 candidates from 12 countries, submitted applications to serve on the 2008 ICF Board of Directors, representing a 100 percent increase over last year. These individuals were interviewed by this year's ICF Nominating Committee who in turn proposed a slate of candidates. ICF members were then given the opportunity to petition to be added to the ballot. After petitions were added, the ballot was presented and the eligible membership was asked to cast their vote. In compliance with ICF Bylaws and Election Process, voting was open, between September 11 and October 1, 2007, to all ICF members in good standing who held an ICF Credential. Based on the votes received, the following members were elected and will begin their terms in January 2008: - President-Elect - Karen Tweedie, PCC, Australia
